Summit on Africa: On The Way To The Africa We Want
The AFRICAN SUMMIT IN GENEVA is a student-led annual summit at The Geneva Graduate Institute that brings together leading practitioners, experts, captains of industry and other leaders at the nexus of development and African affairs. Organized around the topic: “ON THE WAY TO THE AFRICA WE WANT”, the 2024 (second) edition of the Summit aims at providing space for the exchange of ideas, debates and solution-oriented discussions.
In light of the 2063 African Union Agenda, The African Summit in Geneva is a one-day event organized by the “Afrique Students’ Association” of the Geneva Graduate Institute, in close collaboration with the "African Professionals Network Switzerland" and the “Association des Etudiant.e.s Afrodescendant.e.s” of the University of Lausanne & EPFL, that aims to provide a platform for discussions on the future of the continent. Coined around the topic: “ON THE WAY TO THE AFRICA WE WANT,” the second edition of the African Summit focuses on three thematic areas, namely: Economy, Education, and Peace & Security.
